Coming up are a series of farm biology discussion forums on soils, pasture and livestock. These will be held online, where the format will be a short intro from the guest speakers, but will be more focused on answering questions from you guys, to encourage sharing of experiences and ideas.

About the event
On our first discussion on soils our guests are, Nikki Yoxall from NFFN and PFLA, Kevin O'Hanlon (@Irish_Farmer_Kev), and Gerard from Rock Farm Produce, where we will all be discussing soil biology monitoring.
This will be an interactive chat with everyone encouraged to contribute, ask questions to the guests or to the group. Participants are encouraged to share their own knowledge and experience with each other.
We will cover topics such as:
- Soil testing
- Infiltration rates
- Rhizospheres
- Aggregate structure
- Fungi to Bacteria ratios
- Nodulation of legumes
- Earthworm counts
- Spading ease and
- Rooting depths
Possibly many more topics will come up, so its sure to be an interesting and lively evening!
