About the event

The chestnutts operate a zero grazing dairy with a calf rearing system, a milk vending machine and a farm shop.

William is incredibly knowledgable on soil biology, he is using natural products, sowed multi species swards and improving the quality of his farmyard manure using the bokashi method, in order to enhance the life in his soil.

Alison has developed the farms own delicious greek style yogurt and manages the impressive farm shop which supports many local producers.

This will be an interesting evening of soil biology discussions alongside developing a direct selling model on your farm.

All our events are kept small to give everyone the best experience and chance to get to know each other better.
