About the event

Bronagh took on the family farm in 2020 having return to NI after living in England and Scotland for 19years. With no farming experience she questioned everything! This curiosity led Bronagh down the path of soil health and regenerative and biological farming.

Hear her story of removing chemicals, synthetic fertiliser and concentrate feeds, and the trials and tribulations of doing so!

You will get to see the worm farm and the process of extracting biology from the the worm castings to make a biological input for the soil.

Bronagh is part of the GrowIN team, vice chair of the Nature Friendly Farming Network and one of the organisers of the Fields Good festival.

Address: 33 Lower Kildress road, Cookstown, BT809RN

Note - The maps will take you past the farm, look for a concrete lane with red brick house by farm yard.
