About the event

Claire Whittle is an experienced vet with a post grad in Conservation Medicine. She is a founding member of Dung Beeltes For Farmers and is a self confessed 'dung fiddler'! Claire also completed a Nuffield Farming scholarship researching the benefits of regenerative agriculture on livestock health and welfare.

This will be an interactive chat where everyone is encouraged to participate, ask questions to the guests or the group. It's always great to hear others experiences and learn from each other.

We will cover topics such as:

  • Faecal egg counts
  • Dung beetles
  • Parasite control
  • Gut fill & body condition scoring
  • Tree / hedge browsing benefits
  • Stock type & genetics
  • Forage diversity
  • Visual monitoring of stock
