About the event

This won't be your regular farm walk, as obviously it will be dark for starters! But instead we will hear the familys story, how they have integrated nature friendly practices, working to towards regenerative principles and trilaing some interesting techiniques.

There will be a short presentation from Lousie & Esther but more time will be allowed for open discussion on some ideas they have trialled. Such as installing a seed hopper on their slurry tanker to get clover seed spread on more land, the benefits, ups and downs of using kiwi kit (electric fencing) to move sheep on rotational grazing, trialing SuperSoil and humates to wean off fertiliser, and how to mange all this with additional farm business.

GrowIN aims to have more farm walks where the members get to know each other better, make connections, engage in discussion of ideas and innovation. We hope you come away with questions answered, new friends made and fresh ideas to possibly try out for yourself.
