Growing Innovation Competition

Terms and Conditions

Please read these competition rules carefully.

 

By entering the competition you are indicating your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

​

Entries

​

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

​

The Competition is open to Further and Higher Education and Postgraduate current students of CAFRE.

​

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.  The competition is open to teams - just one entry per team.

​

Entries will be accepted from students who have entered in previous years but the entry must be for an idea that is significantly different to the previous entry.

​

No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are not received for any reason.

​

Participation

​

Finalists are expected to attend the workshops provided by GrowIN.  

​

We encourage participants to share their experiences on social channels.

 

Competitors will be representing the College in a public domain and must maintain the good reputation of the College.

Privacy

​

By entering the competition you are agreeing to GrowIN storing and using your information for communication about the competition and other farming innovation news and events. We will not share your information with third parties unless you specifically agree to us sharing these details and you can opt out at any time by unsubscribing from emails or emailing us directly.

By sharing photos with us via email, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you are granting permission for these images to be used by GrowIN online.

​

Please DO NOT disclose any potentially patentable or commercially sensitive information in the process of the competition.  

​

Final stage competitors will be photographed for marketing purposes.

​

Winners

​

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.  The prizes are not transferable.  The prize fund is currently £5,000 but this may increase, the judges may decide not to award funds if minimum standards are not met.

​

The winner will be selected by the judges using the criteria All decisions are final and correspondence will not be entered into.  We will provide feedback for all finalists.

 

This is a pilot and GrowIN reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules.
