About the event

Join us for a farm walk and training session with organic farmer David Laughlin at Culmore Organic Farm and the team from the Soil Association. David is an organic beef and dairy farmer who has built a successful business integrating all aspects of the farm and supply chain to produce award winning products. He sells all of his produce direct and maximises his natural farm resources including through generation of renewable electricity. On the farm walk you will learn about organic farming principles, how to apply them in your context and key lessons learned so far in the transition at Culmore. You will also hear from the Soil Association about the opportunities from the organic market and how to start the transition of your farm towards organic certification. Spaces are limited and registration is essential.
